Louis Brody

Louis Brody, born Ludwig M’Bebe M’Pessa Akwa in Douala, built a long performing career in Germany. His work also extended into Black collective organization: he helped establish the Afrikanischer Hilfsverein in 1918 and protested racist campaigning in 1921.
